Come and support local growers, bakers and crafters as we hold our first winter Market of the season. For the first time you will be able to buy locally grown fall and winter vegetables. You will still be able to purchase chemical-free beauty products, laundry soap and one of a kind jewelry pieces, blankets, scarfs, purses as well as cutting and cheese boards, wooden toys and wind chimes.
Free range chicken and eggs will still be available and Cole’s Lake Creamery will have a variety of artisan goat’s milk cheeses. Roxanne will have her wonderful oat and cheese breads. Sasha his handpicked and mixed spices. Mimi from Royal Rose Bakery will be joining our group of wonderful baked goods vendors and pasta maker Mary Blandford has a wonderful line of dried pasta, including low and gluten free varieties. Mary grinds her own grains for the artisan pasta and has varieties which include kale, spinach or mushrooms. She will also make fresh lasagna and ravioli to order.
At the Master Gardener tent we will have a demonstration: Decorate your Thanksgiving table. Join us at 10.30 a.m. A lucky winner will get to take home the demonstration piece.
Come and fill your pantry with food as fresh as it is healthy. Support your local growers and crafts people.
The Jasper Farmers Market is a project of the Pickens County Master Gardeners.
