Robert Petti

    Mr. Robert J. Petti, 54, of Jasper, passed away Friday December 9, 2016.
    Mr. Petti is survived by his father, Alphonso & Chris Petti of Plantation, FL; mother, Angela Vacarro of Jasper; sons, Kyle Petti of Coconut Creek, FL and Bryan Petti of Coconut Creek, FL; brothers and sisters-in-law, Vincent & Kanyon Petti of Jasper, David & Sherry Petti of NC, Ronald Vacarro of Jasper, David Vacarro of Jasper, and Anthony Vacarro of Orlando, FL; sisters and brothers-in-law, Angel & Jonathon Rosenberg of Weston, FL, Alisa & Shane Hall of Ventura, CA, and Christina Vacarro of Philadelphia, PA.
Mr. Petti, an avid dog lover, requests in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the local animal shelter in his name.
    A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.

Pauline Dillard
June 10, 1934 - December 5, 2016

    Mrs. Pauline D. Dillard,  82 of Jasper, passed away Monday December 5, 2016 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, TN.
    Mrs. Dillard is survived by her son, William Harley Dillard of Morganton; daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Jerry Long of Morganton and Jean and Gary Hancock of Jasper; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
    The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 7 at the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Revs. Rembert Hancock and Buck Parker officiating. Interment at Town Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.             Pallbearers were Jason Hancock, Dustin Hancock, Randy Banks, Gary Banks, Miles Banks, and Josh Dillard.

Lucy Pomfret
September 18, 1952 – December 7, 2016

    Mrs. Lucy Renea Pomfret, 64, of Marble Hill passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at her home. She was born September 18, 1952 to Darwin and Wanda Pendley Dobson.
    She is survived by her daughters, Gina Crowe of Jasper, Sandy Tetterton of Marble Hill; daughter and son-in-law, Stacey and George LaChance of Buxton, Maine; mother, Wanda Dobson of Marble Hill; brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred and Pati Dobson of Marble Hill, Anthony and Tona Dobson of Marble Hill; grandchildren, Gabriel LaChance, Samantha LaChance, Zachery Tetterton, Daniel Tetterton, Ella Crowe; and two great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Pomfret.
    The funeral service was held at 2 p.m., Saturday, December 10 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Kenny Sutton officiating. Interment followed at Lake Forest Memorial Park in Jasper.
