Lawrence Raymond White, known as "Rabbit White," of Marble Hill, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2016.
The funeral is scheduled for Wednesday, December 28 at 10 a.m. from the chapel of Darby Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Edmondson officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Thelma and Judge White and brother, Billy White of Dallas, GA. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis White of Marble Hill; his sister and brother-in-law, Thary and James Matheny of Ball Ground, GA.; his brother and sister-in-law, Griffin and Maxine White of Dallas, GA.; and his sister-in-law, Mary White of Dallas, Ga. Several children, several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren also survive. Rabbit was a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Canton Masonic Lodge #77. He retired from Lockheed Martin after 30 years.
He has gone home to be with Jesus. He will be loved forever and will always live in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the Canton Masonic Lodge, P.O. Ms. Gwen Young, 59, of Marble Hill, passed away Sunday December 18, 2016 at her sisters home in Waleska.
Ms. Young is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Dewayne & Melissa Johnson of Jasper and Shane Dodd of Marble Hill; daughters, Veronica Blackwell of Woodstock and Danielle Dodd of Ellijay; brother and sister-in-law, Nathan & Marlene Turner of Ball Ground; sisters and brother-in-law, Delona Griffin of Acworth, Ann & Lee Pratt of Waleska, Fairy Poole of Jasper, Delta Turner of Marble Hill, and Mary & Vaughn Ortagus of Emerson; 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Ms. Young was preceded in death by her parents RW and Evelyn Turner; and brothers Larry and Lee Turner.
The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 22nd at Mount Vernon Baptist Church in Dawson County with Rev. Gary Keown officiating. Interment at Mount Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were John Chris Blackwell, Matt Turner, Louis Johnson, Dewayne Johnson, Anthony Poole, and Jamey Walker.

Arline Hamrick, 81, of Talking Rock passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016 at her home. She was born December 26, 1934 to Betty Elizabeth and Linzey Young in Pickens County.
She is survived by daughters, Annie Mae Long of Ludville, Lillie Mae Watson of Ludville; son, Larry Hamrick of Ludville; brothers, Nathan Young, James Young, J. L. Young, Ed Young; sisters, Frances Watson, and Jeanette Stone; 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Hamrick and son, Richard Hamrick.
The funeral service was held at 2 p.m., Saturday, December 24, 2016 at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Bobby Timms officiating.

Paul E. Gaddis, 86, of Canton, GA passed away Monday, December 26, 2016 at Cameron Hall. He was retired from J. P. Haynes Lumber Company after many years of service.

Mrs. Garrison was born December 24, 1924 to George and Ina McClure Reed.

Mrs. Inez M. Cox, 90, of Jasper, passed away Sunday December 25, 2016 at Rock Creek Manor Assisted Living.
Mrs. Cox is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday Dec. 30, 2016 from 5 until 9 p.m. The funeral will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Mount Bethel Community Church in Toccoa, GA with Revs. Larry Phillips and Dustin Wilbanks officiating. She will lie in state from 10:30 a.m. until prior to the funeral service. Interment at Mount Bethel Community Church Cemetery.
