Ronnie Moss

Ronnie Junior Moss from Jasper, GA journeyed from this earth for his heavenly home on August 31, 2017. He was only 59 years old, much too young to be leaving, but he departed anyway. His struggle with esophageal cancer ended at home in Georgia surrounded with the love and prayers of his family and friends.

He always loved sharing his strong faith with people and he was very happy and excited when God called him to be a missionary in Mexico along with his wife, Anna Lee, and their youngest daughter, Charity.

Ronnie met Anna Lee in 1975 at a school event and, after meeting her for the first time, went home and told his cousin that he had met the woman he was going to marry. And so he did! He was like that – whatever he put his mind to, he accomplished. They have seven children: Tabitha, married to Jesse Scott; Tonya, married to Leonel Valle; Christina, married to Leonel Rodriguez; Ashley Moss; Benjamin Moss, married to Rebekah Dixon; Amy Moss, and Charity Moss. Ronnie and Anna Lee have six grandchildren: Leonel Rodriguez; Caleb, Anamaria, and Nicolas Valle; Ezra and Judah Moss.

Ronnie was a graduate of Truett McConnell University and loved studying the Bible and anything associated with it. He was a contractor and business owner (R.J. Moss Construction) in Georgia prior to leaving for the mission field in Mexico and enjoyed working with his hands. Even in Mexico, he used his talents in construction to help repair orphanages, children’s homes, churches, etc.

Ronnie’s memorial service will be held September 9 at Living Word Church, 215 Pioneer Industrial Blvd., Jasper, Georgia, GA 30143 at 2 p.m.  Pastor Jerald Brown will be officiating.
