Mary Ann Bozeman
January 14, 1942 – March 16, 2018
Mary Ann Bozeman, 76, of Ball Ground, passed away Friday, March 16, 2018 at her home.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Brett and Julie Bozeman of Ball Ground; granddaughter, Josie "JoJo" Bozeman of Ball Ground; sisters, Sue James, Lois Ridings, Eliza Ray; brothers, Jerry James, Phillip James; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cotton Bozeman; parents, Rembert and Edna James; and sister, Lucy James.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Roper Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Harold Bottoms and Reverend Phillip Burt officiating. Interment followed in the Four Mile Baptist Church Cemetery.
Arrangements were entrusted to the staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
September 27, 1946 –March 15, 2018
Pirkko Hellevi Kilpo, 71, of Jasper, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018. She passed peacefully at home, surrounded by her family and loved ones. She had a huge caring heart and fought her Parkinson's disease for many years and never complained. We now celebrate that she is pain free and in the arms of Jesus.
Pirkko Kilpo was a registered nurse that cared for so many for 30 years. She enjoyed her time exercising (rhythmic gymnastics,water aerobics,yoga),cooking, crafting, sewing, and attending her women's bible study. She will be deeply missed by all. She was a loving wife, mother, and mummi (grandmother). We will always cherish the memories and hold them near and dear in our hearts.
Survivors include her husband, Peter Kilpo; daughters and sons-in-law, Tina & Bert Bost of Jacksonville Beach, FL Carol & Daniel Green of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, Caleb & Macy Bost, Madison, Lawrence, Lillian, & Leeland Green; sisters, Leila Tervo, Eeva Mattinen and Helena Laukka and their families.
Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 24, 2018 between 2-4 p.m. at the Bent Tree Club Tamarack.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to Georgia Mountains Hospice Care (www.georgiamountainshospice.org/please-donate) and/or Michael J Fox Parkinson's Foundation (www.michaeljfox.org).

August 27, 1939 – March 20, 2018
Charles Wallace "Bud" Mills, 78, of Talking Rock, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at his home. He was born August 27, 1939 to Truman and Magnolia Mills in Jasper.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Rebecca "Ann" Ghorley Mills of Talking Rock; son, Keith Mills of Talking Rock; sister, Betty Jean Allgood; sister-in-law, Pat Ghorley; special four-legged friend, Foxy Mills; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Lake Forest Memorial Park.
The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home Wednesday, March 21 from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Thursday, March 22 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, make donations in memory of Bud to Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
November 24, 1955 - March 14, 2018
Robert (Bobby) Henry Payne passed away peacefully at his home after a long illness. A long-time resident of Marble Hill, he was a good friend and neighbor to many. He is survived by two older brothers, Roger and Jeffery and a younger brother Russell, and a niece and nephew.
A celebration of his life will be held at his home later this spring.
A beloved son and brother.
