Like many school systems throughout the state, Pickens must deal with a lack of bus drivers. With that in mind, members of the local board of education are  set to make changes to school start times at their meeting Thursday, May 10th, approving a proposal that will see the high school and junior high start at 7:45 a.m. while the middle school and elementary schools will begin at 8:30.
