Commissioner Rob Jones, now serving his second term as sole commissioner of Pickens County, recently told the Progress chances of him running for a slot on a multi-person commission are slim.
“Unless someone does some strong convincing, I would have to say no, not at this point,” Jones said. “But if Pickens voters decide to remain under the sole-commissioner format, I will serve as long as they let me.”
