Joyce Mae Roberts, 78, of Talking Rock passed away Saturday, July 21st, 2018 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.
Ms. Roberts is survived by her sons, Kenneth Gaspard, of Radford, Virginia and Justin Gaspard, of Fort Benning, Alabama.
At this time no services have been scheduled.

Margo H. Coleman, 79, of Talking Rock, GA, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2018.
She was born on March 7, 1939, in Salt Lake City, UT. She graduated from Jordan High School in Columbus, GA in 1957. She attended North Georgia College in Dahlonega in 1958 and 1959, where she met Larry Coleman, her husband of 59 years. Margo spent her early married years as a homemaker and mother to four daughters. Beginning in the late 70’s, she worked as Treasurer at Roswell First Baptist Church for five years. She volunteered for the Northside Hospital Auxiliary for over 30 years, serving as president from 1991-1993.
In 2005 she moved to Talking Rock and began volunteering for the Piedmont Mountainside Hospital Auxiliary for another 10 years, serving as president from 2007-2009. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution Hightower Trail Chapter for 30 years, including serving as treasurer from 1989-2013.
She was a member of Roswell First Baptist Church, First Baptist Canton, North River Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Jasper.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Madge and Jim Hunter of Columbus, GA.
She is survived by her husband Larry, of Talking Rock; her daughters, Lisa Coleman Ringwall (Jim), of Arvada, CO, Jeanine Randle (Eric), of Aurora, CO, Susan Day, of Franklin, TN, and Linda Murphy (Sean), of Brookhaven, GA. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Dalton, Kendall and Skylar Day, of Franklin, TN; Coleman, Taryn and Shannon Murphy, of Brookhaven, GA; and her sister, Denise Rudder (Danny), of Hiawassee, GA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Joy House of Jasper, GA or First Baptist Church of Jasper.
Mr. David L. Crump, 65, of Talking Rock, died Saturday, July 14, 2018 following injuries received in an automobile accident.
Mr. Crump was born, Oct. 30, 1952, in Pickens County, the son of the late Noel and Hassie Silvers Crump. He was retired from Shaw Industries, a veteran serving with the US Army in Vietnam and a member of the Mt. Carmel Church of Jesus Christ.
He is preceded in death by his parents sister, Pearl Frady and brother; Roger Crump.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Cronan Crump, sons and spouses; Lamar Crump, Jody and Angie Crump, Chris and Paula Crump all of Talking Rock, grandchildren, Kelsey, Courtney, Ethan, Ryan and Dawson Crump, great-grandchild; Kenleigh Sampson, brothers; Roy, Jimmy and Clifford Crump along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services was held Saturday, July 21st at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Curtis Easley, Rev. Herschel Pierce and Rev. Jeff Cronan officiating. Music by Colton Crook and Mr.& Mrs. Roundtree. Pallbearers were: Shane Cronan, Jonathan Cronan, Joey Cronan, Brian Crump, Stacey Crump, Jeffery Crump, Trevor Braswell, Gerald Crump. Interment was in the Ball Creek Baptist Church cemetery with graveside rites by the North Georgia Honor Guard.

Mrs. Debra Kincaid Doyal, 61, of Hogansville passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at her home.
Mrs. Doyal was born February 6, 1957 in Jasper, Ga. and lived in Newnan before making her home in Hogansville in 2016. A member of LaGrange Active Life Center, she had developed her talent as an artist and enjoyed oil painting. She loved chocolate, traveling and going to the beach, but the love of her grandchildren was the most important part of her life.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph and Jennifer Doyal of Greenville, Joshua and Heather Doyal of Newnan; daughters, Rebekka Zachary and Juston McSpadden of Sherman, Texas, Amber and Jonathan Campbell of Newnan; her mother, Dorothy Raynes of Peachtree City; brothers, Edward Kincaid of Grantville, Anthony Kincaid of Acworth; sisters, Jonni Sue Fichtner of Marietta, Barbara Lynn Garibaldi, also of Marietta; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Jeffery B. Doyal and father John B. Kincaid.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Phyllis Bates, 59, of Talking Rock passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital.
Mrs. Bates is survived by her husband, Tim Bates of Talking Rock; daughter and son-in-law, Melinda & Tony Hancock of Jasper; brother and sister-in-law, Ryan & Donna Wilson of Jasper; sisters, Willine White of Cumming and Joyce Martin of Cumming; sisters-in-law, Sherea & husband Ron Chester of Jasper, Becky Bates and fiancé Mark Mulkey of Talking Rock. A host of nieces, nephews and great nieces also survive.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the Cagle Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Steven Chapman and Rev. William Faucett officiating.
Pallbears: Chase Heath, Casey Heath, Phillip Wilson, Mason Wilson, Mondy Walls, and Billy Miller.
Interment was at Sunrise Memorial Gardens immediately following the funeral services.

Elizabeth Anna Brock, 70, of Jasper, Georgia passed away Monday, July 23, 2018 at WellStar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta.
Survivors include her husband, Johnny Brock of Jasper; son, Jason Brock and Tina Riley of Jasper; sister and brother-in-law, Sara and Michael Chumley of Jasper; nephews and nieces, Lana and Marty Callahan of Jasper, Tommy and Gwen Chumley of Jasper; and Tina Chumley of Marietta; great-nieces and nephews, Joe and Alicia Chumley, Abbey Callahan and Claire Callahan.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 25th, 2018 at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Kevin Roper officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
