If the spring weather has your green thumb needing a workout, we have just the remedy. The PHS annual Spring Plant Sale will begin on Wednesday, April 13th. The Greenhouse will be open each day, Wednesday the 13th and Thursday the 14th, and Friday the 15th from 2 to 5 for plant purchases. After the first few days, the greenhouse continues the sale of tomatoes and other vegetables, along with any other plants that are left, on a limited basis.

Customers can call anytime to see what is available. We have ferns, hanging baskets, bedding plants, perennials, and vegetables. We have expanded our offerings with several new varieties while continuing the popular varieties we have had in the past. The sale will take place in the PHS Agricenter next door to the greenhouse. This location provides much more room to browse and purchase the plants.  We will have students available to help with your purchases and loading. If possible, we ask that you pay by check, made payable to PHS, to help with our record keeping.
If you need further information, you can call Joe Wright at Pickens High School. The Agriculture Education Program looks forward to seeing you, starting April 13th to help assist you with your spring gardening needs.
Come out to PHS and “SEE WHAT’S GROWIN ON.”
