Ghosts and goblins, princesses the pirates are all invited to trick-or-treat along Main Street on Halloween, Thursday, Oct. 31st between the hours of 4-7 p.m. Downtown Jasper businesses will open their doors for those dressed in their best costumes for plenty of treats for the annual Halloween fun.
City and county-wide trick-or-treating will begin at 5 p.m. and last until 8 p.m.
City of Jasper police and fire officials will close off downtown streets so the hundreds of expected ghosts and goblins can roam around on their hunt for the best candy.
While Hwy. 53 will remain open, law enforcement will block off Main Street at Spring Street on the south side of downtown and D.B. Carroll Street on the north side, according to Jasper City Manager Brandon Douglas.
