Feast on sumptuous samples at A Taste of Pickens

CARES of Pickens County presents A Taste of Pickens this Saturday, November 9th from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Chattahoochee Technical College.

Come and enjoy great food and fellowship for a great cause. For a small donation of $10 you will feast on eight sumptuous samplings from over 25 of our great town’s favorite restaurants and caterers.

Your ticket includes two beverages and samplings from 61 Main, Bee’s Country Cooking, Bojangles, Bub-Ba-Q, Buffalo Luke’s, Carriage House, Coca Cola, Dairy Queen, Dos Margaritas, Fatz Café, Fuego, Geraldine’s Bodacious Food Company, IGA

Foothills, Kroger, Last Catch, Lollidrops, Marco’s Pizza, Pueblo Cantina, Rocco’s Pub, Rock Creek Manor, Sharptop Catering, Starbuck’s, Streets Treats, The Old Mule House and The Tavern @ the 19th Hole in Bent Tree. 

There will even be a booth featuring desserts prepared by our legendary CARES cooks.

In addition to the samplings, there will be cakes to be auctioned from Deb’s Bakery, Originals to Remember, Mary’s Bread Basket, Carriage House, 61 Main and Davis BBQ.

A big shout out goes to Ingles for the donation of foam plates. Thanks to their generosity, we will not have carry the eight sumptuous samplings in our hands.

Don’t miss this. Where else are you going to eight sumptuous samplings for $10? And who in their right mind does not want samplings that are sumptuous? I mean, seriously. They are sumptuous, for crying out loud.

Tickets are limited. If still available, tickets may be purchased at the door or in advance at the Pickens County Chamber of Commerce. Bojangles, Clock Tower/Jasper Drugs, Renasant Bank or from any CARES Board Member. 

Every penny raised goes to help good people in their time of need.
