Pickens County Board of Elections & Registration will conduct a municipal election November 2, 2021, for the cities of Jasper, Nelson and Talking Rock. Only registered voters living in the city limits of these municipalities can vote during this election.

October 12, 2021 – October 29, 2021: Advance in-person voting will be at the Pickens County Recreation Center, 1329 Camp Rd., Jasper, GA, 30143. Dates and times as follows:
•October 12 – October 15, 2021, Tuesday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
•October 16, 2021, Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
•October 18 – October 22, 2021, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
•October 23, 2021, Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
•October 25 – October 29, 2021, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Mail-in absentee voting applications: Georgia Law SB 202 has changed the absentee voting application process. Mail-in absentee ballot applications can be requested now and no later than October 22, 2021 for this election. Absentee ballot applications received after October 22, 2021 will not be processed. Absentee ballots will be mailed out by the Pickens County Board of Elections & Registration no earlier than October 11, 2021.
Absentee ballot applications can be requested online www.mvp.sos.ga.gov/MVP/mvp.do. If you do not have access to the website, please contact the Pickens County Board of Elections & Registration at contact information provided below. Follow the instructions in the application. Applications can be returned by mail, fax, email (as an attachment), or in-person to the Pickens County Board of Elections & Registration, 83 Pioneer Rd, Jasper, GA 30143.
Completed mail-in absentee ballots: Completed absentee ballots will be mailed to, or placed by the voter or other qualified party, in the absentee ballot drop box located inside Pickens County Board of Elections & Registration, 83 Pioneer Rd., Jasper, Ga, 30143.
Completed absentee ballots that are mailed must be received by November 2 at 7 p.m. The absentee ballot drop box will be accessible only during advance in-person voting and only inside at the Pickens County Board of Elections & Registration as follows:
•October 12 – October 15, 2021, Tuesday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
•October 16, 2021, Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
•October 18 – October 22, 2021, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
•October 23, 2021, Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
•October 25 – October 29, 2021, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
November 2, 2021 – General Election will be held at the following precincts’ polls and will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

November 30, 2021 – Run-off election will be held should one be required.
