Disappearing dry cleaner in Jasper leaves customers hot under the collar

         Dozens of irate Village Cleaners customers who want their clothes back put their names and telephone numbers on the door of the business, which has been mysteriously closed for over a month. One list titled “Please call us! We need our clothes!!” has 40 names on it. Piles of garments, comforters and other items can be seen inside the business through glass windows. 

        It’s been over a month since Russ Embs dropped off an expensive king-size comforter to be cleaned at a local dry cleaner, but Embs and dozens of other angry customers have no idea when or how they will be able to retrieve their belongs. 

That’s because Village Cleaners on Bill Wigington Parkway shut its doors over a month ago with no explanation, despite having piles of customers’ garments and other items locked inside.
