Ornamental cherry trees have been losing their leaves, the first in a series of Autumnal displays. However, the Jasper Farmers Market is picking up energy from the cool mornings. Excitement is building with anticipation of (dare we say it?) Fall! Squash, onions, greens, okra, radish are available, along with lemonade, hot coffee, breakfast biscuits, fried pies, plus, an array of many foods, like fresh eggs (chicken & duck) and meats from our local farms like Riggin Farms run by Nick and Ashley Riggin. Stop by and see all their other products; eggs, produce, flowers, and soap. Soap? Yes, and they are not the only soap sellers. You can find many self care products along with other items like soap dishes, tea bag holders, creams, candles and so much more. Many vendors are multi-talented with their multiple products.
If you’re interested in gifts, birthdays and otherwise, you will find many choices at the FM. From knitwear, crochet cuties, to succulents, and precious stone jewelry. Along with your gift item you can pick up a greeting card or two or three…the choices are amazing! For treats there are choices, too, like candies, cookies, and Fancy Fruit Sorbet in multiple flavors, to eat while strolling the market or flavors to go. Vivian Tritt has got you covered!
