Holiday events abound this weekend (2023)

Jasper and Ball Ground Christmas parades, North Georgia Toy Run, Tour of Homes

            There is no shortage of holiday events this weekend, with two Christmas parades, the annual Tour of Homes, and the Toy Run all happening between Friday and Sunday. Here’s a little about them all.

Jasper’s Night of Lights Christmas Parade

•Main Street in Jasper, Sunday, Dec. 3 (Rain or Shine)

•Festivities start at 2 p.m. with the parade to kick off at 6 p.m.

•Enjoy live music and a DJ, meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, and enjoy food and other vendors

The highlight of the March of the Toys Parade is the arrival of Santa Claus in his sleigh. As is tradition, at the completion of the parade, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available for free photographs with the children at the Ball Ground City Park stage in the heart of downtown.

•Meet Santa and Mrs. Claus

Holiday Tour of Homes

Sunday, Dec. 3

•Take a tour of six homes in Jasper between 1 – 5 p.m.

•Tickets $25 advance at acesyouthhome.org or $30 day of event.

•Registration at The Conservancy @ 80 South Main or 511 Stoneledge Drive

•Event benefits ACES Youth Home

North Georgia Toy Run

•Sunday, Dec. 3

•Pull out @ 1p.m. at Kroger in Canton. End at Chamber of Commerce in Jasper.

•Riders bring two new, unwrapped toys.
