This Friday is the first of nine hand-clapping sing-along comedy performances of Dan Goggins’ Sister Amnesia’s Country Western Nunsense Jamboree. The cast has been working tirelessly for weeks putting together this wonderful comedy show for you.
It’s a mixture of “Hee-Haw” and “Laugh-In” tied together with some truly delightful songs.
Nunsense Jamboree, as we call it for short, is about the musical journey to Nashville, and musical fame, of Sister Mary Paul, formerly called Sister Amnesia. She and her fellow nuns have made Tater Patch Players Theater at 95 Philadelphia Lane, their first stop of their promotional tour.
From Mary Wilhelm (Suellen Reitz) , the “sort of” strict one, to sister Robert Anne (Debra Grecol), the street-wise one, and a brother-and-sister act who are now Sister Mary Leo (Phyllis Zerkle) and Father Virgil (Alex Nawrocki), they do all they can to help and support Sister Mary Paul (Nancy Davis) on her journey to fame an fortune.
Tickets are available anytime at www.taterpatchplayers.org or beginning one hour before each performance at the theater. The performances are September 30, October 1, 2, 7,8, 9, 14, 15, 16. The Sunday shows are at 2 p.m. and the others at 7:30 p.m.
For our fans who can’t afford a ticket at this time, we invite you to come to our final dress rehearsal, September 29 at 7:30 PM and bring some bags of non-perishable food or toiletries that will be donated to CARES.
In exchange for this, you’re invited to share in our final dress rehearsal, where you can share your laughter with the cast.
If you have any questions, please email the troupe at taterpatchplayers@gmail.com or call 706-253-2800 and leave a message and your number. One of our volunteers will be glad to respond.
