Victoria Ennis
Victoria Leigh Ennis, 35, of Jasper, Georgia passed away on November 18th, 2022.
A service and celebration of life with reception will be held on Wednesday, December 7th, 2022 from 2:30 p.m. – 6 p.m. at The Venue at Sharp Mountain: 350 Mountain Venue Pass, Jasper, GA 30143.

Sally Long
Sally Long, 79, died November 21, 2022 at her home in the Bent Tree Community, Georgia. She was the daughter of Sarah Zeigler Blackard and Ernest Clyde Blackard. Sally was born in Richlands, Virginia on February 20, 1943. She graduated from Kingsport Tennessee High School and went on to attend and graduate from Agnes Scott College with a degree in Mathematics.
While working for Southern Bell in Atlanta, Sally married Tim Long, a professor at Georgia Tech. While raising three girls, Sally was active in the Morris Branden Elementary School Parent Teachers Association. While the girls were attending Northside High School, Sally taught high school math.
After retirement, Sally moved to Bent Tree where she served on many committees, including Chair of the Board of Directors. Also, while in Bent Tree Sally was an active volunteer at Good Samaritan Health and Wellness Center in Jasper, serving on their board of directors. Sally supported Good Sam as a worthwhile model for providing healthcare for the underinsured and poor, and requests that donations go to the Good Sam in her name. Sally was an active member of Central Presbyterian Church in Atlanta and the Jasper United Methodist Church. She played bells in each and was a active dulcimer player.
Throughout her life Sally judged people only by the quality of their character and their contributions to society. Her presence brought delight to any gathering.
Sally is survived by her husband, Tim Long; by her three daughters, Alice VanVuren, Katherine Crane and Amy Williamson; and by her five grandchildren, Jeffrey Williamson, Jacob Williamson, Timothy Crane, Sarah Crane and Elizabeth Crane.
A memorial service was held at 3 p.m. on Monday, November 28, 2022 from the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Mark Mitton officiating.
Kathryn Turner
Kathryn Joyce Turner, 86, of Jasper, Georgia passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at The Retreat in Jasper.
Survivors include: Sister-in-law Vivian Westbrook, special cousin David (Judy) Scott, nephews Randy (Jan) Westbrook, Ricky(Christine) Westbrook. Great nephews Tyler and Jeremy Westbrook. Special caregivers Pauline Stone and Jeanette Woods. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn C Turner and her parents Walt and Mattie Bryant Westbrook and Brother Billy Westbrook.
Graveside services were held Friday, November 25th, 2022 at Sunrise Memorial Gardens with Reverend Johnny McPherson officiating. The interment followed.
Pallbearers were Randy Westbrook, Ricky Westbrook, Tyler Westbrook, Jeremy Westbrook, Larry Bryant, and Nathan Daniel.
The family accepted flowers or donations can be made in her honor to St. Jude Childrens Hospital at stjude.org or donations can be mailed to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital 501St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105. The family request no food be brought to the funeral home.
Arrangements are entrusted to the staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
Keith Brown
January 26, 1955 -November 25, 2022
Mr. Keith Brown, 67, of Marble Hill, passed away Friday, November 25, 2022 at his residence.
Mr. Brown is survived by his son, Brian Brown of Marble Hill; daughters and son-in-law, Jeannie & Greg Allen of Jasper, Teresa Teague of Nelson, and Amanda Brown of Marble Hill; brother and sister-in-law, Stanley & Debbie Brown of Marble Hill; sister, Diane Blackwell of Marble Hill; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and three nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2022 at Cagle Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Scott Lawson officiating.
Interment was at the Marble Hill section of Long Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery, following the funeral service.
Pallbearers: Todd Brown, Scottie Blackwell, Andy Blackwell, Noah Brown, Cole Kendrick, and Cason Kendrick. Honorary pallbearers: Damien Allen, Chase Allen, Steve MacArthur, Scott Mulkey, Scott Buchanan, and Billy Buchanan.
The family accepted flowers, but prefer donations to help with funeral expenses.

Death of Brother Daniel Eugene Fink
To the Worshipful Master, Warden, and Brethren of Pickens Star Lodge #220 F&A.M. Jasper, Georgia. Whereas, on September 22, 2022 it was the will of the Grand Architect of Heaven and Earth to Call from Labor to Refreshment our beloved Brother Daniel Eugene Fink.
And whereas we, his brethren, feel keenly his absence from our midst, and while we humbly bow to the
will of our Infinite Creator, we desire to make a suitable Memorial, therefore:
Be it resolved that Pickens Star Lodge No. 220 F&A.M. express to the family of our departed Brother, deepest sympathy and wish to express our gratitude for his life of service among us.
