Charles L. Grizzle, age 58, of Ellijay, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Piedmont Mountainside Ellijay. He was born January 27, 1964 to Leon and Dorothy Grizzle in Tate, Georgia.
Charles is survived by his wife, June Grizzle of Ellijay; daughter and son-in-law, Haley and Michael Hancock of Jasper; son and daughter-in-law, Shane and Jessica Stone of Talking Rock; sister, Sandy Hollifield of Jasper; sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Damon Boling of Calhoun; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Frank and Angie Morris of Jasper, Tammy and Jeff Lowery of Canton; grandchildren, Hunter Stone of Talking Rock, Hudson Stone of Talking Rock; nieces and nephews, Jessica Boling, Sarah Morris, Jeffrey Hollifield, Ethan Boling, Bryan Morris, Devin Ray, Corey Ray; great-nieces and great-nephew, Ivy Johnston, Bennett Morris, and Maela Morris. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Dot Grizzle; and brother, Chad Grizzle.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 20, 2022 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Lake Forest Memorial Park.
The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, November 20, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
