Patsy Puckett
Patsy C Puckett, 68, of Ranger, GA in Pickens County, passed away on September 2, 2022, at Northside Hospital Gwinnett in Lawrenceville, GA.
Patsy was born on November 5, 1953, in Fairmount, GA to the late Fred Watson and Alene Ingle. Patsy had four brothers and one sister. Patsy attended Pickens High School.
Patsy retired from working in Quality Control with over 30 years of service. Patsy loved going to the mountains, reading, and bird-watching.
Patsy survived by her late
husband, Eddie Puckett of Ranger, GA; daughter, Angela Puckett of Jasper, GA; son, Kevin Puckett and daughter-in-law Amy Puckett of Canton, GA; one grandchild, Alex Puckett of Canton, GA; and two living brothers, Ricky Watson of Ludville, GA and Chris Watson and his wife Tammy Watson of Jasper, GA.
At the Logan Funeral Home in Ellijay, the funeral service was held on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 2 p.m. with Senior Pastor Ben Mock officiating. Patsy was placed to rest at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton with her late husband Eddie Puckett.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Atlanta Audubon Society.

Catherine Puckett
Catherine Puckett, 86, of Jasper, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at her home. She was born November 17, 1935 to Lawrence and Nellie Cloud in Ball Ground, Georgia.
Catherine is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Rusty and Sandra Puckett of Sterling, Alaska, Melvin and Terri Puckett of Jasper, Daniel “Bubba” and Kelly Puckett of Talking Rock; daughter, Donna Puckett of Jasper; four grandchildren, Jeremy Puckett of Kasilof, Alaska, Billie Jo Cochran of Jasper, Corie Hightower of Talking Rock, Blake Puckett of Talking Rock; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband, B. D. Puckett; granddaughter, Paula Puckett; and parents, Lawrence and Nellie Cloud.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Saturday, September 10, 2022 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Minister Jim Faix officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Catherine’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or charity of your choice.
Arrangements are entrusted to the staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
Terry Batt
April 17, 1950 -September 10, 2022
Mr. Terry Joe “Batman” Batt, 72, of Talking Rock, passed away Saturday September 10, 2022 at Northside Hospital Cherokee.
Mr. Batt is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joan Batt of Talking Rock; son, Terry A. “Buck” Batt of Talking Rock; daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy & Tim Duncan of Jasper, and Katie & Brandon Cronan of Talking Rock; brother and sister-in-law, Edlee & Sharon Wilkey of Mineral Bluff; sister and brother-in-law, Susie & Dale Chastain of Ludville; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Thomas Cantrell of Jasper, and Steven & Linda Cantrell of Tate; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, and other family members also survive.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert “Sammy” Wilkey.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Cagle Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Steven Chapman officiating.
Interment was at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, following the funeral service.
Pallbearers were his grandsons: Ben Duncan, J.T. Duncan, Corey Batt, Seth Duncan, Kaleb Cronan, Jacob Cronan, and Brayden Cronan. Honorary pallbearers are his granddaughters: Salina Batt, and Mattie Cronan.

David Mewborn
January 27, 1964 -September 10, 2022
Mr. David Mewborn, 58, of Jasper, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Northside Hospital Cherokee.
Mr. Mewborn is survived by his girlfriend, Janice Robertson; brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie “Bimbo” & Diane Mewborn; sisters, Geraldine Mewborn of Jasper, and Linda Faye Mewborn of Adel; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Cagle Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Joseph Hightower officiating.
Interment will be at Sunrise Memorial Gardens following the funeral service.
Pallbearers: Steven Walden, Austin Walden, Caleb Burrell, Zack Burrell, Ryan Evans, D.J. Walker, Josh Moss, Jason Teague, and Richard Mewborn. Honorary pallbearers: Jordan Walker and Ryder Walden.

Rembert Stewart
Rembert Stewart, 90, of Talking Rock, Georgia, passed away Monday, September 12, 2022 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital. He was born January 17, 1932 to David and Eunice Stewart in Jasper.
Rembert is survived by his daughters, Sheila Butler of Talking Rock, Phylis Stewart of Talking Rock; grandchildren, Michael and Melissa Butler of Jasper, Christi and David Lawson of Talking Rock, Jana and Jason Holland of Talking Rock, Cassie and Brett Walburn of Fort Walton, Florida; nine great grandkids; brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Karen Stewart of Talking Rock. Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Stewart and son, Philip Stewart.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, September 15, 2022 at County Line Baptist Church with Reverend Jess Posey officiating. Interment will follow in the County Line Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Wednesday, September 14, 2022 from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
The family will accept flowers.
