Major storytime and community input events
Summer may be over, but your local library continues to provide exciting events and services all year long. From storytimes to craft events, there is so much fun to be had at the library for everyone. With a new school year approaching, we’re excited to continue supporting our community with reservable spaces for studying and tutoring, Chromebook laptops available for checkout, and so much more. Visit our website to see all our services and items available for checkout: SequoyahRegionalLibrary.org
There are so many wonderful events happening this month at Pickens County Library at no cost. First, children and their families are invited to a very special storytime with City of Jasper Mayor Kirk Raffield on August 6 at 4 p.m. Then, teens are welcome to stop by the library on August 8 at 3 p.m. for a Best Besties challenge. On August 18 at 5 p.m., community members of all ages are invited to our Crafter’s Corner for a couple of hours of crafting and camaraderie. Lastly, adults are invited to register for our monthly Plants and Paints event with the Pickens County Master Gardeners on August 28 at 2:30 p.m. To see our full list of events happening this month, please visit our website: SequoyahRegionalLibrary.org

Saturday, August 1 | 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Tuesday, August 11 | 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
