The updated PHS track facility hosted its first meet since 2017 last week. Teams from Union, White, and Gilmer joined Pickens in christening the refurbished facility.
With excellent weather and strong fan support, the event marked a successful return to competition. The boys team finished second, while the girls placed third.
Pickens will host another meet on April 17. See more photos in the print edition.
